It's been a while since I've been active on here but I'm finally trying to get back into it. I haven't been super active here for the usual reasons. Life gets busy, schedules change, people change. I've been reassessing how I use the internet as always. The main thing was just graduating college and getting a full time job threw a huge wrench into my schedule. I feel like I've had to completely re-learn how to manage it. I'm over 2 years graduated and it's only now I feel like I'm starting to get it together. On paper I work the same number of hours as I did in college, but there's just not the same flexibility and that's the hard part.

I've gutted a lot of this site so there's not as much stuff to browse as there used to be, but I'm hoping it'll ultimately be for the best. I'm trying to reduce friction when uploading and treat this site a little more carefully. Cringe is dead, do what you want forever, etc. etc. but I want to be a little more conscious about what I put online. It's hard to tell sometimes if I've mellowed out or just gotten a lot more tired, but I'm just taking things more slowly than I used to.

I'm hoping from here to post monthly-quarterly diary entries as well as more regular reviews. I played In Stars and Time earlier this year and it really lit the fire in me that reminded me why I like talking about media and why I even started my video essay channel. I've got a video in the works but got surgery in the middle of the scripting stage and still haven't 100% recovered so it's slow going. I've also done some smaller text reviews that I haven't posted anywhere. I'll clean up some of them and post them on here at some point, but I'm not rushing anything.

Here's an unorganized list of a bunch of stuff that happened since the last regular updates:

In short, I'm still around. A lot has happened, but not much has changed.
